Shamanism is not a religion, nor is it a specific set of practices. It is a way of being in the world based on tens of thousands of years of human experience. All healing has its roots in shamanic practice.

The first weekend addresses shamanic energy healing and its integration with your current practice. You will leave the first workshop with tools and techniques you can apply immediately. If you choose to continue, the second weekend workshop addresses soul loss and soul retrieval.

Part One includes discussion, dialog, and practical application of fundamental techniques:
• What is shamanic healing?
• What are Power Animals and how are they helpful?
• Healing in the Four Realms
• Curses and Curse Healing

Part Two includes discussion, dialog, and experience of advanced techniques:
• What is Soul Loss and how is it identified?
• Soul Retrieval

You can attend only Part One, the Basics, if you choose. Attendance to Part One is required for registration to Part Two, Advanced work.

Facilitator
Gerry Starnes, M.Ed., originator of the Spirit Paths™ program in 2008, began his practice in the mid-1970s, using both psychological and medical treatment models. Finding the results of these modalities limited, he began a 20-year journey through energy healing and other alternative methods of healing.

In the 1990s he encountered shamanism, and found it to be the most powerful methodology for healing in all the realms. As a contemporary shamanic practitioner, he now offers group and individual sessions, holds regular classes, and presents a variety of workshops in Texas. He is a Founding Member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners.
