Shamanic Passages™
Contemporary shamanism is the application of ancient wisdom to daily contemporary issues. The Passages are a body of techniques, methods and philosophy that build upon that particular world view. The intention is to provide experiences, understanding and tools to bring Spirit into everyday life.

Ravens Grove Foundation
Ravens Grove Foundation for Healing, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to combine shamanic/alternative healing techniques and traditional therapeutic practice to the treatment of trauma.

Held in weekend or week-long retreat format, participants experience a variety of ancient healing techniques and are taught several strategies for coping with their trauma and related stress.

The Returning Warriors™ program was created to address the serious and growing problem of veterans struggling with the effects of war trauma PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

A new program, Sexual Trauma and Abuse Recovery (STAR), focuses the same approach on the treatment of men and women who have experienced sexual abuse.

In addition to creating and presenting retreats, workshops and supportive groupwork, the Foundation also offers training programs for those interested in participating as facilitators in their own areas and communities.

If you would like to support this program, contributions and donations ARE tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please see the Foundation Website for details.

Article: Well-being Q&A

Teacher/Facilitator
My approach is to teach people what I know and provide opportunities for them to access their own internal wisdom and guidance systems ... in essence, to put myself out of a job. In that regard, I am more of a Teacher/Facilitator in classes, workshops and personal, group, and community work.

If you would like a personal session or to join in any workshop or group event, please see my calendar.

All teaching is experience-based, recognizing the ancient wisdom that learning is experience first, dialog afterward. Context is critical for learning and assimilation of content. This is true for classes, workshops AND individual and group counseling.

Essentially, you are your own best teacher, based on your experience, inner knowing and intuition. You have sources of wisdom of which you may be unaware. My intention is to point you ... to yourself.

I look forward to meeting you in the near future.

– Gerry Starnes, M.Ed.
