and workshops are very powerful and effective in creating change
and enhancing the journey of personal evolution. And as with all
structures that must include new students and clients of various
experience and abilities, they have some limitations.
I also offer Individual and Group Sessions for
more specific needs for healing and guidance.
Multilevel Facilitation
My role as Facilitator/Teacher is to use all of my intuitive
and experiential knowledge to penetrate the needs of the
client or student, discover the path to knowledge or healing needed,
and to hold open the doorway for each individual to move into his
or her own Power to access what is needed.
To that end, all classes and workshops are facilitated in multiple
levels to meet the needs of novices and the more experienced.
Still, in my experience, students can only work to a certain level
without more instruction in the mechanics and viewpoint that creates
the context for change.
To meet the needs of these individuals, I have created the Creating
Self Apprentice Program, a one-to-one program designed to assist
students in moving beyond their currently perceived barriers and
deeper into the experience of contemporary shamanism and creative
living.

Apprenticeship Program
The purpose of the apprenticeship is to provide individuals interested
in creating a deeper connection with the precepts of contemporary shamanism
and creating intentionally an opportunity to do so within an organized
structure. The Apprentice Program is designed to help the individual
incorporate the concepts into everyday life, as well as learn to express
them to others as leaders within the community.
In addition to classes and workshops, I also teach the deeper levels
of the background principles. This level of experience includes a
variety of activities:
| • |
Attending workshops and participating as a helper/assistant. |
| • |
Assigned reading on a variety of topics, with ongoing periodic
one-on-one dialog sessions, usually monthly. |
| • |
Ongoing one-on-one intensive personal sessions, usually monthly. |
| • |
Creation or assembly of tools, including making one's own drum & rattle. |
